On October 30, 2024, as autumn deepened, our Busan Rotary Club visited Jung-gu Office, hoping that our neighbors would have a somewhat more comforting day in the chilly weather.
With the warm hearts of our members, we carefully prepared essential items for daily life, such as rice, ramen, and toilet paper, and delivered them directly to 150 vulnerable households in the district, sharing their warmth.
The faces of the members filled the boxes with necessities, hoping that these items would make a small difference in the lives of their neighbors.
President Andrew Seo Dong-gyun said, "While spectacular service is important, Rotary's most important role is to provide practical support to our neighbors' daily lives." He added, "We will continue to be a strong neighbor who closely participates in the lives of residents and meets their needs."
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the members who participated in the volunteer work and to the Jung-gu Office officials who cooperated with us.
The Busan Rotary Club will continue to engage in activities that provide practical comfort and help to our neighbors, rather than simply showcasing them.
