■Region 1 Joint District Joint Project Implementation■
The first region joint district joint project hosted by the Busan Rotary Club (President Andrew Seo Dong-gyun)
Rotary International District 3661 Governor Moon Jeong Hwang In-jae and District 1 Representative Kim Gyu-won attended.
On December 19, the Busan Branch of the Korean Red Cross (Chairman Gu Jeong-hoe) held a winter preparation event for underprivileged neighbors at the Hope Sharing Service Center.
I shared my heart through the volunteer work of ‘Sharing the Warmth of Love’.
On this day, the 20 members and executives of the 6 Rotary Clubs in Region 1 (Busan, Gwangbok, Saha, Sosan, Chingu, and Woojeong) participated and made about 400 breads, including red bean bread.
With the remaining funds, we will prepare warm winter blankets to prepare for the cold winter.
It was delivered to households with disabilities using the Gijang Welfare Center for the Disabled.
President Hwang In-jae said, "I am happy that we can provide practical help to our neighbors in need by having our members make bread themselves and deliver the blankets they have lovingly prepared," adding, "It was even better that six Rotary clubs participated in this meaningful activity."
