Busan Rotary Club Successfully Holds 91st Anniversary and 75th & 76th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony
From scholarship presentations and new member admissions to accompanying volunteers… carrying on the values of tradition and sharing
The Busan Rotary Club is celebrating its 91st anniversary and
A commemorative ceremony was held to celebrate the inauguration of the 75th and 76th presidents, signaling a vigorous start to the new term.
The event was hosted by professional MC Baekgang Oh Dae-woong, former general manager, and
The event kicked off with the opening declaration and bell ringing by the 75th President, Andrew Seo Dong-kyun.
This was followed by the national anthem, the reading of the Rotary Purpose, the recitation of the Four-Way Test, and the singing of the Rotary Song, through
We took time to reflect on the Rotary spirit.
Following the introduction of guests, former President Kim Hyun-kyum (26-27 District Membership Committee Chair)
While conducting a historical report reviewing the 91-year journey of the Busan Rotary Club,
We shared the history of service we have walked alongside the local community with the attendees.
Following this, awards were presented to distinguished members of Rotary International District 3661 and the club, encouraging the hard work of members who dedicated themselves throughout the year.
In addition, at the Busan-Jeju District Scholarship Foundation scholarship certificate and scholarship presentation ceremony

A meaningful time was set aside to support the dreams of future talents, with scholarship certificates and funds being presented.
Following the presentation of appreciation gifts to the 2025-26 executive team, the 75th and 76th President Andrew Seo Dong-gyun delivered his consecutive address, and the new beginning was celebrated with words of encouragement from RI District 3661 Governor Insan Park Young-tae and a congratulatory speech from National Assembly member Cho Seung-hwan representing Jung-gu and Yeongdo-gu.
At the event, new directors and officers who will lead the club were introduced, and
Attorney Cho Seong-je of Kukje Law Firm was inducted for the admission of new members.

In particular, in the special segment [A Beautiful Journey Continued Through Service]
Park Bulkeria, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Sisters of Mary Foundation, attended and deeply moved the attendees by expressing her gratitude while reflecting on the long-standing bond of sharing and service shared with the Busan Rotary Club.
Finally, after the announcements were delivered, the proceedings concluded with Chairman Andrew Seo Dong-kyun's closing declaration and the ringing of the bell.
